AIU Campus and Facilities Closed to Non-University Members

As of February 28, 2020, AIU has determined to close all campus facilities, including the cafeteria, library, and College Cafe among others to all members of the general public. AIU will also be refusing all requests for campus visits or tours as well as all community interaction/exchange events. We ask for your kind understanding at this difficult time.

In light of the rapid spread of COVID-19 both within Japan and internationally, AIU has reinforced the importance of daily health maintenance and disease prevention to students, faculty, and staff members, suspended all large meetings and gatherings, and asked all university faculty and staff to suspend non-emergency work travel outside of the prefecture or overseas.

In general, the AIU campus, including our library and cafeteria, are open to members of the public. However, in the interest of reducing the risk of the spread of COVID-19, we have had to introduce these measures for the time being.
